I know that this is a worrying time for many people – particularly if you’ve lost a job or seen your income reduce as a result of coronavirus. We are determined to do everything we can to help as part of our already substantial package of financial support. This will include a further reduction in council tax for over 6,600 low-income households through our Council Tax Support scheme and the option to apply for a one-off payment through our Local Welfare Assistance Scheme.
