Oscar Congratulations to Daniel Kaluuya

Actor Daniel Kaluuya, who grew up in Kentish Town, was awarded the Best Supporting Actor award (also known as an Oscar) at the 2021 Academy Awards held in Los Angeles on 25 April 2021.

He won the award for his role as Fred Hampton, chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panthers in Chicago in the late 1960s, in the movie Judas and the Black Messiah.
