London’s Underground system has many deserted nooks and crannies, part of its history of more than 150 years. Tours can be organised to see some of them.

A book has been produced, Hidden London: Discovering the Forgotten Underground, including pictures of underground passages, repurposed stations, and disused stations (including Camden’s own South Kentish Town Station, closed since 1924).

In fact, South Kentish Town Station is being used as an escape room experience at the moment! Probably inspired by a piece, South Kentish Town, written by Sir John Betjeman, about a fictional passenger who became trapped at the station.
