TfL financial crisis hits transport upgrades

The well-publicised delays to the opening of the new Elizabeth Line (also known as Crossrail) have had knock-on effects on Transport for London (TfL).

Proposed upgrades to Camden Town Underground Station are being deferred, as well as improvements to the Piccadilly and Northern Lines.

Improvement works to Holborn Station are still being planned.
